Each chassis was hand built from the ground up by our expert chassis builders. Dating back to the early nineties, Hendrick Motorsports has been a leader in stock car chassis technology - and the experience of over 1,000 race weekends and fourteen Cup Series championships goes into every car we build.
Adjustable Suspension
Track Attack cars ride on a high strength tube chassis, complete with double wishbone front suspension and truck arm rear suspension. While each car comes optimized for the needs of any driver on any course, tools such as an adjustable track bar and wedge bolts provide optional tunability to suit the demands of any driving style and track.
Superior Brakes
The misnomer of stock cars and poor stopping power is long gone thanks to modern 6-piston front and 4-piston rear Brembo calipers all clamping down on large vented rotors that produce an abundance of reliable stopping power while resisting fade. In adherence with the standards of many track day events and organizers, functional brake lights are integrated into the rear fascia of every Track Attack car.
Modern Telemetry
Gone are the days of constrained analog gauges, replaced by an AiM Digital Dash, providing the driver with a wealth of information and technology right at their fingertips. AiM Digital Dashes are capable of displaying full engine telemetry, GPS speed and lap times.
Also included is the compact AiM SmartyCam - making capturing HD-quality recordings of your laps simpler than ever.

Safety Equipment
An initiative dating back to 2002, the Hendrick Motorsports carbon fiber seat is the gold standard in NASCAR today and is the pinnacle of comfort and safety. Every seat is built in-house and includes a custom-molded foam insert that is form fitted to your body.
Additional safety equipment includes a 6-point safety harness and leg protection - as well as a state-of-the-art fire suppression system.
Racing Fuel Cell
Track Attack cars are equipped with the same fuel cells we race on Sundays - ensuring you the utmost safety and peace of mind. The 18-gauge steel can contains a foam filled aircraft-style fuel bladder and is topped off with a robust safety check valve. The special fuel cell foam prevents the fuel from sloshing and ensures constant fuel flow to the engine.
Powertrain
With over 600 horsepower to the rear tires, each Track Attack car comes with a custom-designed Ilmor Racing LS 427 coupled to a robust 6-speed sequential transmission delivering a potent punch in a durable and reliable package. Ilmor Track Attack LS 427
Our most refined engine package comes in the latest iteration of the legendary Chevrolet small block V8. Lighter, more compact, and stronger than a traditional big block 427, the Ilmor 427 produces 637 hp* at 6800 RPM, and an astounding 557 ft/lbs* of torque at 4800 RPM. Featuring a forged rotating assembly and dry sump oiling system, the fuel injected 427 runs on 98 octane unleaded race fuel. Most service components can be sourced via your local Chevrolet Performance dealer!
Race Tech Services 6XD 6-Speed Sequential Transmission
With lightning fast shifting and unparalleled durability, this billet transmission will keep you in the power-band while providing the utmost control and driving thrills. This six-speed gearbox is equipped with automatic rev-matching when coupled to the LS 427 engine.
Body
Gone are the days of heavy steel stock car bodies. Today’s bodies weigh in at just 250 pounds thanks to carbon composite and light weight sheet metal components.
Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
The aggressively styled Camaro ZL1 sports the classic look of one of America’s favorite muscle cars. Campaigned in the Cup Series from 2018-2021, Hendrick Motorsports won ten of the fifteen road course races and two series titles.
Custom Designed Scheme
Early in the build process, you’ll work with a professional artist to craft a custom scheme of your design. You can select your own number and even feature your own branding. Track Attack cars are sprayed with Axalta Automotive Finish products.
